My WFU Facts and Connections

Wake Forest University is a big tradition in my family! During my time at WFU, I was joined there by my sister and three cousins. When I graduated, another cousin was the baccalaureate speaker and received an honorary doctorate on the same day I received my B.A.! My great-uncle had received an honorary doctorate a few years before.

Here is a list of my relatives who attended WFU:

Bettye Crouch Davis, 1947
John Dixon Davis III, 1973

These are all blood relatives, so there are even more if you added in all of their spouses!

At WFU, I lived in Bostwick 106A for two years and then lived for two years in Efird. I was in the first group of women to live on the Quad! I was a member of Strings Society (now Pi Beta Phi) and Mary Dalton, communications professor at WFU, was my little sister! I studied abroad in London at Worrell House with Harold Tedford and the theatre group.
