I am Professor Emeritus of Physics at Wake Forest University, where I started teaching in September, 1959. I retired in May, 1995, although I continued for the next two years to teach a spring-semester course in introductory mechanics. My expertise lies is in the theory of relativity.

I hope that before too long, I shall incorporate a number of articles of both general and specialized interest. The first of these is titled "On the Nature of Time." The second is "On the Nature of Space."

A third paper, prepared as a general-audience seminar many years ago but periodically revised, is a cursory examination of the question of extra-terrestrial visitation. It is entitled "Visitors from Outer Space."

Two more articles have to do with "Ghosts" and "Evolution: The Giraffe's Long Neck." Though written somewhat pedantically, they are intended to be whimsical and are not to be taken terribly seriously.
