Happy Thanksgiving, Merry Christmas, Happy New Year!

I think we nailed them all in one update, eh?
We wanted to let everyone out there in internet
land know exactly what's going on with us at the
moment, and what "will" being going on
as concert dates and such are confirmed.
Right now, we are planning to updating this front
page, the albums section, the scholarship section,
biographies, and gallery pictures by January. Since
school is still in, and time is escaping us, so
making work on the website will begin in December!
As of right now, we do not have any plans for December.
We will be in school for about 3 more weeks, and
then everyone will return home. We will not be recording
a CD this winter, but next year around this same
time, we plan to be making recording preparations.
We had a photo shoot 2 weeks ago, and will be attempting
to have a poster designed to be purchased (because
of it's large production price) at our concerts
in the Spring. We will also attempt to make it available
to you online.
Lastly, tour preparations are being considered.
If you have any suggestions, please let us know.
We are considering Texas, Colorado, or possibly
the Nashville-to-Detroit region. Continue to pray
for our preparation and God's leading for our tour
in May.
Remember, the fern grows when it's watered.

Wesleyan High School Football RULES!
Posted: 10-10-01 - 11:37 AM |
We just returned from singing in Atlanta, and we
wanted to give a shout out to all of our friends
at Wesleyan High School! If you would like to leave
us a message, you can post
one here.
Also, Colin
Creel rules! We love his purple shirts!
The concert journal
has been updated. Check out what's been going on
during trips. I'm sure even the people we sing for
don't know much of what happens behind the scenes
of the singing.
We'll
have an order form for CDs
online soon! We promise!
Derek's
screen name is Bigdw9898.

Family
Weekend - September 22, 2001
The
extraordinary verse for the week - yes we have it
- ready? 1 Corinthians 4:8-21; it's a wonderful
challenge to our lives of faith, and makes us question
exactly how we are "fools for Christ?"
In practice,
we are coming back to the basics. After singing
songs over and over again, the repetition sometimes
drains us. Yet, learning how to apply the words
of each song in a new way, to our lives, each time
we sing, has helped us to keep much more focus and
love directed to the Lord, so that our hearts will
not stray while we sing. Brett Harris is the man...
this was his idea - to apply a verse of a song to
something totally new each time we sing. For instance,
if we sing 'God is Holy,' to honestly bring our
hearts and minds to focus on a new reason why God
is holy. We challenge you to think in the same way
when you sing in church or even alone in your room...
heartless worship is something that creeps into
our lives very often.

CHIRHO.COM ......................

We would like to say that God is doing great things
among His people these days. What has happened in
our country has turned heads, and made people think
about whether or not eternity is something that
we can really hope for, and we pray that God uses
us to share our hope and His truth with others in
the midst of incredible pain and suffering. Our
prayers have been going out for those who have been
affecting directly and indirectly by the terrorist
attacks.
Lately,
we have been gearing up for many events, learning
new songs slowly, and are excited about traveling,
meeting new people, and spreading God's word. Concert
Journal updates will be provided, most likely, a
few days after concerts occur. Please read about
what's happening. A new song arrangement in the
works is "Hold on to Jesus" by Michelle
Tumes.
Oh,
did we mention, our new website address, donated
by Fred Woodard, is http://www.chirho.com!
Please make sure you bookmark us, and tell other
people about the group.
New
website updates coming within the next months include
letters from people who have written us, new pictures
from previous years and this year's concerts, and
a new album section with a form that you can print
and send to us for the purpose of ordering CDs.
Continue to pray for us... we are in need; spiritually,
what we do as a ministry is worthless with our own
strength.
