How to Make Up a Missed Lab

Once you have been given permission to make up a missed lab, it your responsibility to see that you make up the lab. Follow the following steps:

1. Check the Astronomy Lab Schedule web page and find out which lab was performed by your section on the date you missed lab.
2. Check the Astronomy Lab Schedule web page and find out which other sections will be performing the lab you missed.
3. Attend any one of these sections performing the lab you missed and inform the TA that you are there to make up the lab.

Caveats:

• The lab you need to make up may not be performed again on any given week. You must keep checking to find a time to make up your missed lab.
• Often, the lab performed on any given night depends on the weather. You may have to try several times before you succeed in making up a missed lab.
• The lab you need to make up may have been completed by all other labs. In this case, there may be no way to make up the missed lab.

Keep in mind that permission to make up a missed lab is not a guarantee that you will be able to do so.
