EGM8 is being hosted by the Department of Physics at Wake Forest University.

The meeting will consist of 1.5 to 2 days of contributed talks. Each participant may present a talk of about 15 minutes, although the exact time will depend on the number of participants. There is no registration fee.

In celebration of the 2005 World Year of Physics, we have also scheduled two events on Thursday, March 17. In the afternoon, the Physics Departemnt Colloquium will be given by Clifford Will. Later in the evening, he will give a Public Lecture. All participants are invited to arrive early to attend these events.

Students are particularly encouraged to attend and present the results of their research. The American Physical Society Topical Group on Gravitation will present the $200 GGR Award for Best Student Presentation at EGM8.
