Tony,
I think you're right that almost, if not, all of
V3 before V1. You're also right that V3 and V2
were put together by Engels after Marx's death.
If I'm not mistaken, much of V2 was written after
V1 was published.

Without wishing to take this discussion off on a tangent, I understood that
many parts of Volume II and III (assembled by Engels) were actually written
by Marx before Volume I. Is the above correct in assuming that the logical
development of Marx's thought corresponds with the volume number?
