The School of Economics & Trade at Kyungpook National
University in Korea welcomes applications for one visiting
professor for autumn semester of this year( Sept 1, 2002 -
Dec 31, 2002)
JOB DESCRIPTION/QUALIFICATIONS:
We invite a scholar who can teach Global Economy and
related topics. This program is sponsored by the Ministry
of Education and Human Resources. In principle foreign
citizen-/residentship is required for application.
Prospective candidates must possess a Ph. D. degree and
expected to teach courses in English. Research and
education career over 3 years is required. (The candidate
who has Korean nationality must have teaching or education
career at least 5 years.) Retired scholars may also apply.
The pay for 4 months is about US $20,000.
ABOUT THE SCHOOL:
Kyungpook National University is located in Deagu, the
third largest city in Korea with the population of about
2.5 millions. It was founded in 1946 and is one of the
major university in Korea with more than 25,000 students.
The School of Economics & Trade has about 900 undergraduate
students and 60 graduate students enrolled.
