The London demonstration was fantastic. The atmosphere was very upbeat, and the reactionary islamic groups were much less visible than last time. I think 1.5 - 2m people is a fair estimate, given the length of the columns and the crush experienced by the participants. It took more than 6 hours for two densely packed columns of people to arrive at Hyde Park. Of course, it is impossible to estimate such numbers precisely. alfredo.
