The event will cover topics that integrate the gender perspective into all natural disaster related policies and decision-making processes with the consideration of cultural differences. Lodging, breakfast and some meals will be provided for all participants. Limited funds available for travel support for the international participants coming from the non-Western world. The language of the meetings will be Turkish and English. Simultaneous translation will be provided for all of the sessions. Participants will be notified by August 10, 2008.
