Re: [OPE] Obama about Chávez

I'm sorry, I sent a part of my post, which should be:

Who would expect a different opinion from Obama, except the opinion of the
US imperialistic establishment, of US world power, about an explicit
critic of US's domination of Latin American countries?

Whatever one may think about Chávez, it seems certain that what he
hindered was the progress of imperialism in Latin America, he disrupted
the quiet acceptance of US domination by all governments of Latin America;
he resumed the control of the PDVSA (the Venezuelan state oil company)
from the hands of foreign interests; his atitude was an important factor
for the election of anti-imperialistic governments in Bolivia and Equador;
he has continuously denounced the financing of right-wing parties and
groups in all of Latin America by US government; he has been promoting the
increasing economic and political integration and autonomy of Latin
American countries, and so on.

Of course Chávez's position (and of the other mentioned governments) is
subject to critic also from the left, but not on the same issues as from
the president of USA.
