For those of us not into value theory debates, it is a bit difficult to
propose a redirection at this time. After all, there is enough activity
on the value issue to suggest that those interested should continue until
exhaustion or victory by one side or another (just joking).
I think the list benefits by NOT having a dispersal of issues at a point
in time (dispersal over time is of course essential). My experience
on Pen-L is that when an issue really gets good and the
deeper issues rise to the surface, discussion dies. This does not seem
to be the case for OPE and that is to its advantage.
