Thank you for your inquriy as follows;
'I heard that Makoto Itoh had his last lecture at the university
yesterday. Could I ask you what subject did you choose for the lecture,
Makoto?'
The title was '"Capital" and Socialism'. The content was based upon a part
of my book 'Political Economy for Socialism'. I argued how to use Marx's
theory of crisis in understanding the systemich changes of the Soviet type
of societies as well as in reformulating a more flexible socialist economies
for the future. I shall move to Kokugakuin University, Faculty of Economics
in April this year.
