[OPE-L:6455] End-of-term time pressure

I've come under the familiar end of term (and middle of term) time pressure
over the last several weeks, and have only managed to find time to read the
posts, not to respond to them. I hope to formulate responses by early May,
when our classes end, particularly to Andrew's very interesting Example 2
(questioning what happens to the New Interpretation MELT if value added
were to be negtive), Paul Z.'s proposal, the two rates of profit (which I
think can clarify, if not resolve, some aspects of the TSS debate), and
Fred's comments on the "determination" as opposed to the "definition" or
measurement of the MELT.

Cheers,
Duncan
