Thanks for this. I will track this down and give you a response. I think
you are right not to refer to yourself as a Trotskyist, particularly since
it is so often used as a term of abuse. I do think though that it is
important to establish the history of the 'Trotskyist' tradition, since it
has had such a powerful impact on the development of Marxist ideas - which
is why your work on Mandel is so important, and why I raised the Callinicos
book as a possible contribution.
