- 3 novembre : le naufrage de l'Argentine invalide toutes les théories monétaires en usage et annonce ce qui attend tout pays ou région économique s'obstinant à maintenir une parité fixe de sa monnaie avec le dollar.
- 24 octobre : le succès de la sonde Mars Odissey est l'occasion de rappeller une alerte sur l'erreur de systèmes d'unités (à l'origine d'un échec 22 mois auparavant) restée sans réponse.
- 19 octobre : à l'occasion de la fête de la science, à Paris, il s'avère que la crise de la recherche fondamentale est bien dûe esssentiellement à des causes économiques, mais ne se réduit pas à un problème de budget.
News Section, announced in home page, proposes three dates for the recent period:
- November 3rd : Argentina's economic collapse invalidates all monetary theories in use and prefigures what is to be expected by every country or economic region persisting to maintain a fixed parity of its currency with dollar.
- October 24th : success of Mars Odissey spacecraft gives the opportunity to recall an alert on mistakes of units systems (cause of a failure 22 months ago) that is still not answered.
- October 19th : on the occasion of science day, in Paris, it appears that crisis of fundamental research is indeed essentially due to economic causes, but is not reducible to a matter of budget.
