There is an extensive literature (under the umbrella of 'Liberation
Theology'), much of it explicitly "Marxist-Christian" or
"Christian-Marxist". Interestingly, the same literature influenced and/or
interacted with movements in education (Paulo Freire) and North American
psychotherapy (most notably the work of Carl Rogers), as well as having
some influence on African 'liberation movements' (especially
Marxist-Christians within the South African Communist Party).
