I have never considered myself as writing for an outside audience when posting on this list and, in fact, this remark of Jerry's is the first time I realize that others may see the list somewhat differently than a list to dialogue to advance Marxist political economy and to learn from each other in the process. I was not stimulated by the 'poll' question and thus did not respond. That's all. My silence is not in any way intended to undermine appreciation of Marxist political economy.
