My own 'Unsubscribe' posting is NOT AT ALL conditioned by the Kliman/RRPE
issue. It is conditioned by 'enticement' and 'entrapment' by the list
manager.

I do not take a stand one way or another on Kliman/RRPE. I will, however,
direct listmembers to my posting OPE-L:6600 DEFENDING Terry McDonough
against any thought that he could be a liar when he noted a 'threat'
against a RRPE board member (copy below).

On OPE-L, there should be rules of behavior which a list manager must
apply equally to ALL, even those with whom he/she disagree. Enticement
and entrapment are not permissable behavior.

Simon, I don't think you need the information you request. In fact, the
Kliman/RRPE issue is a diversionary attempt to AVOID the managerial
problem. Think what you would do in a 'socialist' society claiming to be
Marxist when your manager engages in enticement and entrapment. Perhaps a
strike would be an appropriate response (yes, even in 'socialism'). I
suggest starting with Jerry's #6672, then Alejandro's #6720 and my #6738.

Rakesh and Mike, thanks for your appreciation of my research work.

Paul Z.

P.S. to Jerry, I acknowledge receipt of your private message to me
yesterday connected to the entrapment issue. Please make it public, or
find a 'mediator' (other than myself).

Relevant portion of my OPE-L:6600, 2/15/02, (Terry's message itself was
forwarded to the list at OPE-L:6582).

"...For myself and after the 11 emails of today, I say that Terry
McDonough is a good and long-term friend, is not a liar, and is unlikely
to put himself on this list without reasons he felt to be justified."

"So, we if want to solve this problem on either side of the fence, we
should look elsewhere.

"Paul"
