The problem of valuing constant capital over time is an area that I have
worked on quite a bit.  My most recent article on the subject is from 1998
"Marx, Devalorisation, and the Theory of Value." Cambridge Journal of
Economics, 23: 6 (November): pp. 719-28.  I would appreciate any comments
that list members might have.  I believe somebody posted the article
online.  You can google it.
