A new Web journal GLOVES OFF was launched on February 15, 2003 -- the day millions globally demonstrated against the war with Iraq. Edited by two students from the New School University Economics Department, Sara Burke and Claudio Puty, it is sub-titled "BARE-FISTED POLITICAL ECONOMY." The current edition has an email interview with George Caffentzis (and the talk that he gave at ABC No Rio, which was published as [OPE-L:8486], is also re-printed): http://www.glovesoff.org The March edition ( http://www.glovesoff.org/weblog/2003_03.html ) has a couple of references to us -- OPE-L. From the section "AROUND THE WATER COOLER": "If you want to know how economists outside the mainstream talk to each other about the roots of the impending war on Iraq, stop by the "Online Political Economy (sic, JL) List (OPE-L) Archive." There is another reference to OPE-L in "IN THE AIR."
