Nell: Friday May 14, 5:00 Listmembers in the New York area may be interested to know that on Friday, May 14, there will be an event honoring Edward Nell's many contributions to economics. ME Sharpe has recently published Growth, Distribution and Effective Demand: Essays in Honor of Edward J. Nell (G. Argyrous, M. Forstater & G. Mongiovi, Eds). On Friday, the book will be formally presented to Ed. The event will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 in the Wolff conference room (65 Fifth Avenue, second floor). There will be a wine & cheese reception following the presentation and remarks. We hope that many of you will be able to join us. Regards, Gary Mongiovi
