The original German edition was prepared for publication in
1925 by Paul Levi -- a controversial figure who was involved
in a faction fight within the KPD (I believe Klara Zetkin refers
to Levi in her reminisces: she appealed to Lenin to intercede on
behalf  of Levi but he refused -- or, at least, that's the way I
remember reading it).
