A take-off on Jon Stewart's "Hegel Myths and Legends", this site has texts which attempt to identify, historically explain, and de-bunk myths about Marx. Constructed by Rob Lucas and Andy Blunden. < http://marxmyths.org > This site (which began in late 2004) is still largely under construction. "The idea is to invite scholars to write essays on individual Marx legends." Texts by OPE-L members Chris A. and John H are included. Other contributors include Cyril Smith, Paresh Chattopadhyay, Harry Cleaver, Hal Draper, Francis Wheen, Z. A. Jordan, Maximillien Rubel and Terrell Carver. There is a way for site readers to post a reply (under "Critiques & Rejoinders") and there is a blog which "is intended to be a relatively informal area for discussion and cataloguing of Marx 'myths' ...." which currently includes suggestions by, among others, Chris Wright. In solidarity, Jerry
