I heard an impassioned  talk tonight by Richard D. Wolff
(UMass-Amherst) on "The Absurdity of Economic Efficiency as a
Goal for Policy".

Is there anyone on the list who has authored efficiency studies
or in some other capacity has attempted to calculate economic
efficiencies and inefficiencies?  If so, what do you think about
Wolff's perspective on this issue?  See attached 3 page paper.
