A "Symposium on Marxist Philosophy: Chinese and Western Perspectives", which is being coordinated by Ian H, will happen July 14-15, 2006 at Flinders University in Bedford Park, South Australia. The symposium website < http://ehlt.flinders.edu.au/conferences/philosophy/marxism_symposium_2006/ > is still under construction, but a provisional program has been published (see below). [Note all of the "moot courts" below. I wonder: is this a common practice for conferences in Australia? ... China?] I understand that there's still room in the program for additional contributions so, if you can attend, please contact Ian H.
