[OPE-L] Muslim influence on the West

But surely "Muslim influence on the West" is not the same as "Arabic
influence on the West". I'm often surprised at how people summarily equate
"Arabic" with "Muslim". Presumably Arabic inventors and scholars did not
simply get their insights handed down from God, but applied some their own
thinking.
