from MIA: Encyclopedia of Marxism: Glossary of People ..................................................... Althusser, Louis (1918-1990) <snip, JL> Althusser saw the early chapters of Marx's Capital not as a key, but a barrier to understanding Marx's view of capitalist society, advising readers to begin Capital with Part II. Althusser thus arrives not at a revision, but at a complete negation of Marx. ..................................................... (the entire page is *attached*). What I find most objectionable to the above is that the author is not indicated on the MIA page. At least MIA readers should be told who is making this claim, don't you think? Are there any other questionable assertions or factual errors on this page? In solidarity, Jerry
