On this week's program, Dr. Azmi Beshara will be in conversation with Dr. Samara Esmeir about the destructive political operations of the war, the alignments within Israel that gave birth to this war, the regional and the global state of affairs enabling it, the political meanings of various forms of violence, as well as their relation to the U.S. projects of "democracy" in the Middle East, Israel's history in the region and practices of resistance. Azmi Beshara is a member of the Israeli Parliament, on behalf of the Palestinian party, the National Democratic Assembly, and a former Professor of Philosophy at Bir Zeit University in the West Bank.
