Hi Chris,

I agree with you here 100%. The remarkable thing is how Jews who experienced
the Holocaust and founded the state of Israel, can believe that they can
starve or force Palestinians thrown off their own land into recognising
their Israeli state. This shows very little objective insight, and is
morally pathetic.

I suspect that the only reason the demand for recognition is being insisted
upon is because Israel has the backing of Bush, Blair and their hangers-on.
Which is to say the political deadlock is unlikely to be broken until
they're gone.
