Most of the discussion about global warming has concerned
mega macro impacts and/or impacts on other species (the
Bush administration, btw, proposed placing polar bears on the
endangered species as a consequence of habitat erosion caused
by ... global warming). Less discussion has centered around the
regional impacts of global warming and the impacts on the working
class and poor. The above story deals with what I think will be
an increasing trend: the increase in refugees due to climatic
change.
