Hello!

I know of only one empirical estimate Marx provided for c/v -- i.e., in
Vol. 3, for cotton spinning (with his stated assumption that the unknown
level of circulating capital is one-quarter of the level for machinery),
calculating a remarkably high level of 12,182/318 = 38.3 (Progress, p.
76).

I checked Vol. 1-3 carefully, but not Vol. 4 for other possible places.
Anyone know of any other calculation by Marx?

Paul Z.
