I had no idea that Praeger was bought by Elsevier, which makes sense. Its founder was associated with the CIA -- old Ramparts scandal. The new parent company of Elsevier does work for the government in data mining terrorism threats. Elsevier itself, I believe, runs trade shows for the military & charges more than $10,000 a year for a sub to at least one of its journals. Sort of like "just-in-time" publishing? NB2: Praeger is a division of the Greenwood PublishingGroup (GPG) and GPG is part of the "Elsevier family ofCompanies". The centralization of capital!
