Sorry another slipup. the last profit rate I mentioned should read:

r = (75/75) + (250/75)/[500/75) + 1] = (1+3.33)/(6.66+1) = 56.5%

As a result of the proportional reduction of S1 and V as U increases, the profit rate falls.
