Hi Jurriaan:
There were many frightening things about the USSR (including mass killings, purges and
show trials, gulags, Russification, fear of being overheard talking about politics in public, mental
hospitalization of dissidents, tanks invading neighboring socialist nations, etc.), but ... absence
of commerce? What's so frightening about that?
