 i know you think of his famous distinction between monarchy, aristocracy and democracy.
as important as this historically may be it no longer applies to our time. hegel is right in saying
that in modern times one cannot be aristotelian. the langiage we have to use is that that has been established since french revolution to describe modern forms of states and governements. have a nice weekend, DG.

The problem is that I am using Aristotelian language here, and in that
sense monarchic is correct, and does not depend on feudalism since
although feudal states were monarchic, they are not the only monarchic
states.?
