It's also worth noting that the "utopian" social programs which you referred to
are *at this moment* under attack from an opposition governor-elect. If the opposition
leader goes through with the promise to attempt to dismantle these social programs, then
the struggle - at least, regionally - could really intensify. Unwittingly, the opposition may set
the fire which will burn a quicker path towards 21st Century socialism in Venezuela.
