My impression is that when Dogan wrote "mirror theory" he
was not referring to an analogy. Instead, I took it to be a
reference to a philosophical perspective - a distinct type of
social theory. Maybe there's a translation issue here. Dogan -
when you write "mirror theory" what intellectual tradition are
you referring to and who are some of the prominent writers
in that tradition?
