I am referring to the accountability of the regime itself. Of course they have mechanisms of control to cope with dissidents!   Jerry, you are demanding that I told you how many TV-cable connections, feather beds and peaces of gold-made cutlery Castro has. But since his regime is **unaccountable**, nobody knows with certainty.   The question is how your **critical attitude** is able to leave out this unaccountability, and still sustains that the privileges of Castro, his family and his close collaborators, do not exist.   The only possible answer is an act of faith.   If there are no democratic mechanisms to substitute Castro in the state headquarters, what do impede to consider him de facto ownership of the Cuban patrimony? Or at least, why should we suspect that he abstains himself to abuse of his privileges?   The only answer is an un-socialist faith in his benevolence.   Sincerely yours, A.
