In Sweden, organisation is not a problem as such. The degree of
unionisation is higher here than in most countries. However, the Left
and the labour movement are in the main incapable of formulating
anything beyond increased state spending. Of course, that might change
depending on how the crisis evolves.

I wonder to what extent the social position of the industrial working
class can be strengthened when manufacturing is in general decline. I
find it interesting that it is often the workers in the public sector
that are the most militant.
