[OPE] transitional distribution problem

For approximately a day and a half, posts were not being distributed to
the list. Although the messages were being archived in the server at
CSU (the internal one which archives messages in real time and which is only
available to subscribers), they weren't being distributed. Other lists hosted
by CSU-CHICO, including PEN-L, were experiencing the same problem.
By now, you should have all received the 'missing' posts.
 
For future reference, if you wish to access the CSU archives, you will need
your password. In case some of you lost it, I asked the server to send
out monthly reminders to to each subscriber informing you again of your
password.
