Can you tell me what popular movement Stalin led in the U.K.? I don't
recollect that he ever set foot in the U.K.

Although the communist movement in the UK was at the height of its level of support,b Paul Z is right that it was not a significant popular movement here. But consider France, Italy, Czechoslovakia, China in these countries the communists were a strong popular movement in the 40s.
