Alter the recent arrest warrant against Manuel Rosales, governor of Zulia federal state in Venezuela and opponent of Chavez, the turn for another opponent has arrived. Now is Raul Isaia Bauduel, founder of MBR-200 (the original party which served as platform for Chavez), former minister of defence during Chavez government, and the architect of the return of Chavez after the coup d’état on 2002.   Chavez has repeatedly expressed his intention to see Rosales under arrest and blamed Bauduel as traitor when he stopped to agree with Chavez. These are open challenges to democratic institutions. Free competitive elections will not be possible if the judicial institutions in Venezuela are manipulated to persecute the democratic opponents to Chavez.   It’s time to review the nature of the regime in Venezuela.   On the arrest of Raul Isaia Bauduel: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/spanish/latin_america/newsid_7980000/7980412.stm   On the arrest warrant against Manuel Rosales: http://news.bbc.co.uk/hi/spanish/multimedia/video/newsid_7954000/7954160.stm   Regards,A. Agafonow
