Maybe Michael P's "last" should (like Lenin's popular outline
on imperialism) be interpreted to mean "latest"?
 
 
Thinking in terms of absolutes (including concepts of
inevitability) in social theory are best avoided, imo, by
Marxians. They express a pre- or anti-Marxian perspective,
often tied to religious conceptions. Social theory requires
relativeixation and contextualization.
