In commodity form, the amount of money these copies fetch on the market will on labour value and rents. The influence of the latter will depend on the level of monopolisation and legal restrictions through patent rights.

One should also take into account the competition from open source material which is produced by non commodified labour. The fact that this exists sets limits on how high the price a monopolist may charge for information. The existence of file sharing exerts pressure to reduce the selling price of music tracks etc.
