Contrary to DeLeon's formulation, though, capitalist exploitation of
wage labor can not accurately be conceived of as plunder. Plunder has had
a role in the accumulation of wealth under capitalism, particularly so in
the so-called primitive accumulation of capital, but if one sees the
exploitation of wage-labor as plunder then one misses what is distinct about
this form of exploitation.
