I did a google search, read some articles, saw some live footage,
and saw Paul's pics.
 
Paul - if anyone is putting together some sort of a petition or statement
of condemnation, please let me know. I'm ready to sign.
 
At the risk of stating what others on the list may see as obvious and
preaching to the converted, I see this development as a part of a global
strategy by capital and states of trying to impose austerity, including
budget cuts, on students, workers, and the poor. All around the world
students - and many others - are being attacked. These attacks have
intensified during the "Great Recession" and form an essential part of
capital's plan for how to overcome the crisis.
