Jerry's program is very ambitious, but it would be wonderful if we could
accomplish even part of it.
Part of the difficulty will be the fact that Marx seems to have made up
his project as he went along. In the Grundrisse, he seems to start out
attacking monetary reformers, then somehow stumbled onto an anlysis of
capital. Even in Capital, he seems to be expanding his vision over time.
My own interest is to investigate how the momentum of discovery worked and
how continuing his method would lead to useful analysis for the present and
future.
