The recent discussion concerning abstract labour has been very
interesting and informative, but it is a digression for us at this point.

I think we need to think about summing-up different positions regarding
Marx's plans and the tasks before ope-l.

As I indicated in a post earlier this week, I have a procedural proposal
for the next steps. I didn't want to advance it before because I felt, in
part, that our discussions of issues regarding Marx's plans was useful
and helped us to articulate our perspectives on issues of structure and
logic. I will send that proposal to you within the next few days.

I would ask all to:

1) summarize your positions regarding Marx's plans.

2) state clearly what you believe the tasks before ope-l are.

I believe we should move forward from Marx's plans (to the
"brainstorming"?) soon. Let's try to see if we can come out of this
exercise with a clearer understanding of the tasks before us.

In OPE-L Solidarity,

Jerry
