Two short comments to Andrew:
Isn't capitalism around partly because nobody's figured out a viable
alternative way to organize social production?
I agree about the sterility of the "Fundamental Theorem" point of view.
But the idea that embodied labor coefficients have something to do with
relative prices is still very attractive to a lot of people. I hope the
90s discussion of value does not lead in another "esoteric" direction,
though.
