I have Axel Davidson's English translation of Ch. 1 of the 1867 ed. of
_Capital_. I'll be happy to send Riccardo a copy, and anyone else, but
I do need the money sent to me, because I expect to be unemployed soon.
Please contact me off-list.
I have a slight preference for the _Collected Works_ edition of the 1861-63
mss. and _Theories of Surplus Value_ over the standard Progress Publishers
editions of the latter (to my knowledge, the 1861-63 mss. exists in English
only in the CW), especially because having everything together is more
convenient. Also the editors' notes are more helpful, and it's easier to see
when Marx is writing in English. But if you need to look up other authors'
quotes, you'll probably need the standard TSV, too.
